More fairy magic and Rudolph time

Good morning to you all, it's time for our new challenge at Allsorts where this week Tracy Mouse would like to see 'Wings'. Our sponsor is Penny Black and there are two prizes to be won.

It's always a pleasure to work with Lavinia fairies and I really enjoyed making this one. I started with a piece of Fabriano and stamped the tree and fairy in black archival, next I masked a sun and used Pan Pastles to create a background. Next I stamped the toadstools, Agapanthus, leaves and stars, added some stickles and stamped the sentiment which is also Lavinia.

My second card uses one of my many Penny Black Poppy stamps, embossed with detail clear and coloured with Spectrum pencils. The DP's are Nitwits, I'm now down to remaining few sheets in the pad which were a Birthday gift from a crafty friend a couple of years and a organza bow to finish.

And a final share for this months Rudolph Day over at Mo's, No stamping on this one just Christmas Roses and Holly using tattered Lace Trio dies and matching embossing folder cut on pearlescent card and Bazzil, some TL crinkly ribbons and I added little yellow pearl stamens to the the middle of the roses.

Whatever you are up to I hope you have a lovely Easter weekend.

I love all your cards and I'll be over to Allsorts to play along later in the week - it's my favourite theme so how could I resist? But I've popped in just now with my Rudolph Days hat on, and your card is absolutely gorgeous. That crinkly ribbon and the berries you have added are wonderful finishing touches.
Thanks for playing along at Rudolph Days this month.

A lovely set of cards, Brenda. I always admire how you can create a scene using different stamp sets and make it look magical. Happy Easter! For practical reasons, we normally celebrate Easter with the Greeks, which isn't until May 1st this year. The weather over here is definitely warmer than in your part of the world, malthough today was a little cooler than the last few days. But we've managed to have our coffee out on the terrace this morning during a sunny patch with little or no clouds. I've been able to walk the dog dressed in a short-sleeved t-shirt 3 mornings in a row (after 10), so no complaining here. DH has started to walk the last, short evening round again, so things are definitely improving.

I always admire the scenes you create with your stamps. They are always perfectly thought through to the last detail and the one on today's card is no different-it looks amazing! I'd love to be able to have a walk in a magical forest like that.
Your second card is wonderful too. I like that flower stamp you used and I think that big bow is a perfect finishing touch.
I think it can be quite a challenge to create a card using only die cuts and no stamps, but you did a great job with your last card. Those Tattered lace flower dies are great and really versatile. Great idea to use them to make a Christmas card.
Hsppy Easter!
Hugs! xx
